What I’m all about…
Creating experiences. Through my work as a cultural producer and curator, I get work with artists on various projects, bringing ideas to life and people together. Take a look in here.

My Brazilian signature is…
The way I can’t hear a beat without shaking my bones. A batucada comes on and my feet are tapping and my head is swaying. It is not long before I am up and have given in to the samba!

A typical day in Nova Friburgo includes…
Waking up to my mom’s mortadella sandwich and coffee. The way in to town is surrounded by mountains, as we go up and down hills. Once we arrive, the car isn’t moved until going back home. I am off to ‘bater perna‘ or simply walk around aimlessly, with the certainty that no matter the direction I choose, I will run into friends. From then day stretches into night, over beer and good conversation.

A Brazilian artist who changed the way I see the world is…
Roberto Burle Marx. I feel like I grew up in one of his gardens. My dad is a landscape architect, who studied under Burle Marx and shared in his aesthetic. From the tropical greenery with bright red and orange flowers, winding trails to fish ponds, it was the fairytale setting to my childhood. To this day, my dad has the most beautiful garden and orchid collection.
